THis cell phone sooo horrible. I have to charge it constantly because the battery runs out like a bucket full of water filled with holes. . Seriously i could have it charging for the whole night and day and when i go to use it i am out for a couple of hours and come back and the phone will have only ONE bar left of battery. . . At first i thought it was just me and that i did something to my phone but than my mom wanted to update her phone and so she got the same one as mine (i didn’t tell her about the problem i was having with it because i dropped my last phone in some water and still worked so. . . ) Yea so mom got the same one and it did the exact same thing to her so i came to the conclusion it was some faulty phone. Seriously DO NOT GET this phone, it runs out of battery so fast, sometimes the signal isn’t very good and u could be standing right next to a cellphone tower!! BAD PHONE ALERT!! DO NOT GET! Save yourself the trouble~

I got this in Fall 2008, really cheap, as part of our phone refresh plan and the people at Sprint talked it up as the hot new phone. . .
When it arrived, I did have to admit that it looked / felt cool (shiny black). . . had a nice slick exterior with a handy outer screen, slim profile that fit easily into a shirt pocket. Buttons were nice and made texting easy, camera worked reasonably well.
I never actually got around to using the music-player feature of this phone, as it just didn’t offer anything my iPod couldn’t do.
My phone died after something like six to nine months; first the outer screen died, then the inner screen. . . then all the buttons stopped working. I switched to my sister’s identical phone (she got a Muziq too but replaced it with a Palm Centro), and hers is dying now, too. . . maybe six months later, same problem with the screens.
The phone might have more features than a Razr, but is built less solidly; flimsy plastic vs. Razr’s metal. The frame itself begins to come loose, which invites detached connections, etc. which may be to blame for the phone’s short lifecycle.
At any rate, while this phone seemed pretty nifty, I’ve gotta say that its poor construction and the overall lack of added value in an MP3 phone that isn’t a Blackberry/iPhone style make this a pretty mediocre phone, overall. For actual phone calls (yep, phones are still for phone calls), the earpiece and speakerphone are both tinny and weak.
You’re better off getting either a) a simpler and more durable phone for basic uses, or b) a REALLY nice phone like the iPhone or a Blackberry / Palm. The Muziq is sorta neat, but really crappy compared to other alternatives.

I have had no problems with my LG Muziq phone and has been great. I have had it almost 2 yrs now and I can up grade if I want. But it has been such a great phone I am not sure I want an upgrade on my phone at this point. They are always coming out with something new anyways. I like the simplicity of the phone. There are plenty of great features on it. Hard to pass it up. I would recommend it to my friends. Great pictures, sound, etc. . . . .
