I bought this cheap bell as an accessory for my Canon HF-100 video camera. Plain and simple. . . This has proved a big bell for my Canon Vixia HG20. The main reason for using a hood, of course, is to look at the anomalies of the photographic lens or filter light at an angle that can reasonably be prevented with a hood to prevent weapons. Normally I’m reluctant to “negotiations” surprised with the amount of the price and was pleasantly with this DV Menendez-2 Screw Mount 37mm Lens Hood. Simple in design, well made and cheap. It fits right into my Canon Vixia HF10 Camcorder, to ensure the safety ring for proper positioning of the hood to the camera. The bell cap w / cord has added a nice feature to anti-dust/dirt the security camera lens. Without hesitation, recommend this product to anyone for this type of equipment. Rating: 5 / 5
