The angles of the rectangular hoods match the angle of acceptance of digital video cameras. DV-Series umbrellas are also provided with an additional protective case, the call to the front of the hood. The main function of the lens hood is to shade the lens from stray light, improving contrast and image quality. But it is also used for protection against a barrel inevitable impacts against walls, door frames and other physical obstacles and bad weather, you can help maintain, humidity and wind, dirt from the lens.
