The 2009 report on VCR: World Market Segmentation by City
Product DescriptionThis report was for the global strategic planning, not to be content with traditional methods of segmentation created the world markets. With the creation of a borderless world “, cities are an important criterion for prioritizing markets, as contrary to the regions, continents or countries. This report covers the top 2000 cities in over 200 countries. This is done by reporting the estimated market size (in terms of latent demand) for every city in the world. Then the rows and reports from these cities in terms of size than one percent of the country where they are, their geographic region (eg Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America, Latin America) and is the global market. In the implementation of various economic analysis for clients, sometimes I’ve been asked to investigate the market potential for various goods and services across cities. The aim of the study is the density of demand within a country and to understand how a city can be used in their region as a distribution point. From an economic perspective, however, is a city, not to a population within rigid geographical boundaries. To an economist or strategic planner, the city is an area of dominant influence to markets in adjacent areas. This influence varies from sector to sector, but also from a time when the next one. In the following, I grasp the economic potential of cities in the world for “video recorder (VCR) for the year 2009. The purpose of this report is my report of the results to the real economic potential, or what an economist calls the latent demand from a city if it as an area of dominant influence is defined representing. The reader should know that latent demand may or may not represent the actual sales.
